Reopening 5th August 2020
We are glad to announce we will be reopening on the 5th August. Our team are working hard to ensure the restaurant and accommodation remain fully Covid secure, and we ask all guests to rearrange any bookings if you show symptoms or meet anyone with symptoms.
We will be operating with additional cleaning procedures, limited capacity and other precautions such as sanitiser stations, for the safety and wellbeing of our teams and guests.

From 5th August
Wednesday-Friday - Lunch served 12 noon-2:30pm / Dinner served 6pm-9pm
Saturday - 12 noon-9pm
Sunday - 12 noon-6pm

We are itching to open but it will not be today, July 4th we are afraid, and we will be announcing very shortly our firm date - together with our exciting new relaunch menus.
We are part of a small groups of pubs which are reopening in a phased way through the month - so as to best manage and understand the restrictions that Covid 19 presents us with.
So sorry if this is frustrating - we can’t wait to have you back here.

New head chef for The Manor
Stuart Forman, formerly of the acclaimed Feathers Hotel in Ludlow, has been appointed head chef at The Manor Arms in Abberley, Worcestershire
Stuart, 36, has featured in popular publications such as the Great British Cookbook, the Great British Chefs Cookbook, and has won the National Breakfast Awards for the last seven years. He is a regular at Ludlow Food Festival, giving cooking demonstrations.
He is bringing his bright, fresh modern British cooking to The Manor, which has two AA rosettes for the high standard of the cuisine.
“It’a a fantastic pub with a beautiful garden that attracts locals and visitors from all over the UK,” he says. “I will be creating a new menu that includes pub classics for those who want a simple supper, and more elaborate, gastro pub dishes for those who want a gourmet meal.”
“Having spent 10 years at The Feathers, I felt the time was right to work in a new kitchen, and The Manor is the perfect place for me as there is great emphasis on high quality food, as well as creating a friendly and welcoming ambience.”
One of the first additions Stuart will bring to The Manor’s repertoire is a delicious afternoon tea (which has to be pre-booked).
“Afternoon tea has made a big comeback, especially when it includes an excellent selection of home-made cakes,” he says.
Stuart is married and has a five-year-old son, Lucas. He lives in Stourport-upon-Severn.
